I’m Baaaack!!

First let me start off by saying, I’m sorry I haven’t been blogging much. 2014 has been a busy writing year for me. I finished my contemporary novel, Blind Love, which is under contract with Samhain Publications and expected to be released the summer of 2015. I’m a tad bit excited about that.

I have two other stories coming out before then. Yes, two of them.

One is my short story The Ice Storm, set be released in The Bowman’s Inn Anthology this December 2014.

Twenty-eight-year old Maddie needs to make a change in her life so she leaves her family in Oklahoma and takes a job up north. When her little car skates across a road during an ice storm, she finds herself stranded at the Bowman Inn with a very handsome Jeremy. But a relationship is the last thing on her mind.

When the green-eyed Maddie slides into his life, Jeremy is drawn to her. Until he finds out she works for the company he plans to take over. Never one to mix business with pleasure, Jeremy knows he has to walk away.

Will Valentine’s special drinks be able to melt the icy walls Maddie and Jeremy have built around their hearts or has he met his match?

Maddie and Jeremy’s romance is part of a compilation of steamy short romance stories guaranteed to heat you up: Something out of the ordinary happens when people meet at The Bowman’s Inn.  The sexy bartender whips up special drinks that cause walls to fall down, hearts to beat faster, and worlds to collide.  Is he magic, or is it love?  Join us inside to find out.

Then there’s my other short story, Taking the Plunge. It’s set to be released in February 2015 in the Love Least Expected Anthology.

Since graduating high school, Eve Cambridge has dropped ten dress sizes, became an RN, and dumped her jerk of a boyfriend – all on her own. So when her high school crush shows up in her life, she does what any normal self-reliant woman would do — pepper spray him.
Since inheriting the family plumbing business, Peter Russo has tried to make the best of a career he never planned for. He’s made his share of mistakes, but he’s worked hard to learn from them. Now that he’s run into Eve, he’s not so sure he isn’t making another one. After all, she did almost blind him.
When logic and emotion don’t agree, which path should they follow?
